personally i dont believe anyone can become the creative director of this strong brand
neither does Gareth Pugh
his design is so strong too and personal
in a sense of B&W, armed women
and Pugh has denied the rumour anyway

the show was held in the family headquarters of PPR
in Paris

basically i m in love with the headpiece

the print is a mixed collage of 18th century painting

when spaghetti meets McQueen

i came across this photo from Manish Arora earlier today
well..
this is the first time i heard of this brand
but it gives me a bad impression unfortunately..

the hair style of the fashion show is about crazy wig
but this one totally looks like spaghetti, no?

the dress immediately recalls me the last collection of the great McQueen
from cutting, colour to pattern
nth is exactly the same
but the combination makes it thou
the sad thing here is the WRONG length!
the silhouette ends up unflattering...
shoes don't match with the dress either..

will you turn down mcqueen?

Abbey Lee Kershaw, Natasha Poly and Sasha Pivovarova had turned down McQ for his SS 2010 show in Oct last year, becoz of the impossibly high heel "armadillos". 

I believe that it is becoz they are famous enough to turn down a big designer more than concerning their health or concerning about what happened to Naomi Campbell 5 years ago in Westwood show.......

some people commented that it is a feminist move......... 

well..... they are exaggerating obviously..

this is life...

you can control if you have power, otherwise, you are the one to be controlled

mcqueen is more than anything

i know i haven't been posting SS2010 runway shows for a long time

school work is heavy...

however, it is crazily impossible not to look at the show of Alexander Mcqueen

(i know i m late here, ha)

the forever genius

o no, this video is fabulous

you can see the softness of the fabric when it moves

how fit are they merging the models

but the figure and texture remind strong and powerful

i still think it looks a bit like starwar princess

although mcq was inspired by darwin

(darwin should be very pleased in heaven when he knows this!!!)

the colour, snake skin mutation and transformation of colours

and not to mention the elegant emergence of the "corn-like" beadings

they are totally insanely beautiful
