the september issue

just finished watching the september issue
it is out of my expectation
a rather undramatic film documenting the preparation of vogue US 2007 september issue.
obviously shot in a total different way from valentino: the last emperor

i was expecting it to describe the ice queen-devil wears prada-anna wintour more
maybe learning about her real life, or
to recorrect people's thoughts about her?
ha, no!
she is still the ice queen
though, it introduced grace coddington, the creative director of vogue US.
she seems to be the real heroine of the magazine!
from vogue model to vogue creative director
in charge of most of the featured shots
her artistic view and attitude is very admirable, love her so much!

grace for vidal sassoon, the five point cut

(btw, i believe vidal sassoon will be a great architect if he had the chance to study)

karen elson's grace style shot, she has such a "grace face"!
